Auditions

Auditions are held each year in September.  Students in grades 7th through 12th are encouraged to complete the application form and mail to the address below. Special Note:  1st time applicants must be grades 7th - 10th.

During auditions, each applicant must perform a musical selection.  They may also be requested to play a musical scale and respond to a brief "Q&A" segment.
The date, time, and place for auditions are TBD.  All applicants will receive detailed information.

    All applications must be complete upon receipt, and include an application fee of $20.00.  This fee is non-refundable and is required in the form of a check or money order. Receipt of your completed application and fee will allow your name to be placed on the Audition List.   Both must be received by September 3, 2011, and should be mailed to:                           SONATA, Inc.

    You will be contacted with the date, location, and time. During the Audition you will be expected to play two short pieces and several scales.  The Audition is mandatory and competitive. You must bring all necessary musical equipment and accessories. A piano and warm-up area will be provided.
